Terms of Service

Build requests submitted through the site are not binding orders. We reply with a written quote covering parts, assembly, testing, and shipping. An order is confirmed once you approve the quote and pay the deposit.

Component pricing and availability follow the market. If a part becomes unavailable or its price changes materially between quote and build, we'll offer an equivalent alternative or refund the affected portion.

A 50% deposit is due before we order parts. The remaining balance is due after assembly and testing, before the PC ships. Deposits are refundable only for parts we haven't yet purchased.

Accepted methods will be listed on your invoice. Sales tax applies where required.

Every build is assembled, cable-managed, updated (BIOS + drivers), and stress-tested for at least 24 hours before it ships. If a component fails testing we replace it and re-run the test at no extra cost.

Typical turnaround is 5–14 business days from deposit, depending on parts availability.

PCs ship insured with a tracked carrier. Shipping cost is quoted separately based on destination and case size. Once handed to the carrier, delivery times and damage claims are subject to the carrier's terms.

Inspect your build within 48 hours of delivery and let us know immediately if anything looks damaged in transit — photos help us file claims quickly.

We help troubleshoot for the life of the PC. Individual parts are covered by their manufacturer warranties, which pass through to you — contact us and we'll help you file a claim.

Custom builds are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once assembled. If you need to cancel before assembly, you'll be refunded minus any non-returnable parts we've already purchased.

To hit tight budgets — especially on our Bronze tier and any "target my budget" build under $900 — some components may be gently used, open-box, or refurbished. This most often applies to GPUs, cases, and power supplies where the price difference is significant.

Every used part is personally tested, cleaned, and stress-checked before it goes into a build. We will always disclose which parts are used in your written quote before you pay a deposit — no surprises. If you want a 100% brand-new build, tell us and we'll spec accordingly (price will go up).

Used parts carry a 30-day JPHYBUILDS replacement guarantee. Manufacturer warranties on used parts vary and may be reduced or void; we'll note this per part.

By ordering from JPHYBUILDS you agree to the following rules:

• Be honest about your use case. Tell us what you're actually doing (gaming, streaming, editing, mining, etc.) so we can spec correctly. Misrepresenting use may void support.
• One deposit locks parts. Once you pay the deposit and we buy your components, tier changes or major spec swaps may incur restocking fees.
• No chargebacks without contact. If something's wrong, message us first. Filing a chargeback before reaching out will result in immediate cancellation and blacklist from future orders.
• Don't open the PC for 30 days. Removing the side panel or swapping parts within 30 days of delivery voids the JPHYBUILDS support window (manufacturer warranties still apply).
• Respect the builders. Threats, harassment, or abusive messages toward Jacob, Phyrst, or anyone associated with JPHYBUILDS ends the order immediately — deposit is forfeited.
• No illegal or dangerous use. Builds may not be used for hacking, malware distribution, or anything illegal. Doing so voids all support.
• Accurate shipping info is on you. If a package is lost because you gave us the wrong address, reshipping is billed to you.
• Ages 18+ or with a parent. Minors can order only with a parent or guardian handling payment and shipping.
• Reviews welcome, lies aren't. Honest reviews — good or bad — are always welcome. Knowingly false claims may be grounds for legal action.

A chargeback filed after delivery — without contacting us first — is treated as fraud. We ship every PC with:

• Signature-required, insured shipping (UPS or FedEx). The carrier's delivery scan and signature are our proof the PC reached you.
• Photo and video records of the finished build before it's boxed, including visible serial numbers on the CPU, GPU, and motherboard.
• Your full order record — name, shipping address, email, phone, order code, and payment reference — kept on file.

If you dispute a payment through Cash App, PayPal, or your bank after receiving the PC and without messaging us first, we will submit the above evidence to the payment provider and, if the dispute is granted in bad faith, may pursue recovery through small-claims court and report the incident to law enforcement as wire/mail fraud. You'll also be permanently banned from future orders.

We're reasonable — if something's wrong with your PC, text or email us and we'll make it right. That's what the 30-day support window is for.

Operating systems and paid software are billed at cost and licensed directly to you under their respective terms (e.g. Microsoft's Windows EULA). We don't provide pirated software under any circumstance.

Our total liability for any claim related to a build is limited to the amount you paid for that build. We are not liable for data loss, lost profits, or indirect damages. Always back up your data.

We may update these terms as the business grows. The version in effect on the date your order is confirmed is the version that applies to that order.
